Description: TheIT Technical Analyst (Logistic)will be based inPrai, Penang.The position is responsible for Solution Management and Development in the Baan 5/Infor LN space.As a Technical Analyst you will be responsible for specifying, testing and documenting new features based on requirements submitted by our 100+ sites and corporate business groups. Interpret functional specification and convert it into a technical specification.
Time estimation based on development specifications for developments to be done using Baan Tools.
Develop new components, customize existing components, in LN and Baan5 development environment using LN/Baan Tools, based on technical specifications.
Testing of customizations/new developments as per user requirement.
Create patches/dumps/PMCs on LN and Baan5.
Installation of dumps/patches/PMCs on LN/Baan5 servers.
Analysis of existing components and optimize existing components for performance.
Troubleshooting and debugging errors arising out of LN/Baan application.
Development and testing according Documentation. Here is some of what youll need (required):
Possesses a Diploma/Degree in IT related discipline
Minimum 5 years of experience with strong development and testing skills or related technologies
Knowledge of Baan 5 and/or LN
Business application development skills (C/C++, Java).
Aptitude in understanding business side as well as IT side in problem solving.
Good at self-teaching and desire to continuously learn.
Good communication skills (English)written and verbal.

Handling end to end New business processing starting from creation of Client id,Case start up, New business login, Follow up for policy issuance, Quality Check
Follow up with HUB for policy issuance of pending cases
