Experienced Licensing Specialist across multiple vendors with a focus on vendors such as IBM, Oracle, Microsoft, Dell, Symantec, Veritas, Redhat, cloud and open source software.
You should have extensive knowledge and expertise on key software publisher's licensing models.
Support internal stakeholders in understanding if they are licensed correctly for the software they are using.
You should be familiar with Flexera SAM tools, IBM TAD4D, ILMT, Microsoft SCCM and Altiris, know how to analyse deployment data, familiar with other measurement methodologies and software life cycle management.
As a licensing expert, you are responsible for the analysis of licensing entitlement and deployment data.
Define and enhance processes for analyzing license position data.
Determine internal stakeholder's compliance position and the related financial exposure, and be able to explain the complex issues surrounding license compliance in clear and simple terms.
Provide remediation and optimization advice. You will be the go-to person for SAM.
Min. 8years of license compliance experience with major software publishers or Big 4.
Experience in managing Flexnet Management Suite SAM tools
Experience in software lifecycle management
Good understanding of public cloud, hardware and software architectures
Comfortable in dynamic working environment
Eye for details
Excellent excel (eg macros) and project management skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
ITAM certification is a plus
Have a passion to learn new things eg new vendor licensing rules, product use rights.
