Our client , a well known and established Retail FMCG MNC

  • Reporting to the Food Manager, you will be responsible in overseeing the Bistro and Food Market as a strong communication mix to strengthen business market position in the local market.
  • As an Ambassador for the store; customers are always in focus and taking into account of customer satisfaction goals, you are accountable for the revenue and food Direction & Strategy.
  • You are to empower and encourage your team to take immediate action to meet the needs of customers to continuously improving our standards.
  • You are also responsible for the efficient organization of the business area in relation to financial performance i.e. gross profit, costs, man-hours planning, productivity levels.
  • Cooperation with the Food Management Team to enhance the link between the Restaurant & Caf and the Food Market by taking actions to promote cross merchandising/communication.
  • Working closely with the stores Commercial Calendar; integrating celebrations to include activity range and communication packages.
  • Adherence to the guidelines stipulated in Concept Documentation and Safety & Security Risk Manual on top of HACCP guidelines and plans is paramount in ensuring a safe working environment for co-workers and customers.
  • Act in accordance with the Sustainability Direction and work with the team to take actions that contribute to sustainability, such as waste management.
  • Be a coach for co-workers; securing their training and develop successors to the roles in the department.
  • In charge to strengthen the Low-Price profile by having welcome back offers at the Bistro and always ensuring the area is always In-Shape-As-New.
  • Use to the fullest the potential of the Concept; tools, manuals, guidelines and other best practices.

  • Diploma
  • Min 5 years experience of working in a fast-paced retail and logistic environment and a proven track record of getting things done and management experience of leading a logistics team
  • Must able to do shift work & work during weekends / PHs
    Must be able to support operation in manual work on stock picking & replenishment when needed
  • Have the interest in retailing and supply chain logistics with a strong desire to maximise turnover, creating profit and improving customers shopping experience.
  • Strong in personal drive, planning, organizational and process skills, tactical abilities and high energy level.
  • Ability to meet agreed budgets and goals and comprehensive long term planning for the department.
  • Good with setting expectations for co-workers and provide clear direction and details in following up.
  • Confident communicator and a leader in delegating responsibilities. Have the ability to work on tactical and operational level.
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills in supply forecast, inventory accuracy to provide partnering advice to internal stakeholders in your area of expertise.
  • Ability to prioritise and organise your work and the work of others to make the most efficient use of time available

Other Information:

5 Days Shift, 42.5 Hours weekly - Must be available to work weekends and PH. Rotating shift.
