Job Description
Manager, Comms & Marketing
What to Expect: 

Plan and execute marketing and communications plans, including media, marketing, collateral development, social media promotion for Smart Nation initiatives & GovTech’s suite of products & services

Conceptualise and organise conferences, workshops, seminars and other events



Marketing & Communications
  • Plan and develop marketing and communications materials, including marketing copy, design works and presentation materials etc
  • Liaise with advertising agencies and media agencies to develop marketing campaigns
  • Measure and evaluate effectiveness of marketing campaigns
  • Plan and execute social media engagement plans
  • Develop and manage marketing budgets
  • Support media publicity, such as preparing media materials, eg: media releases, factsheets, facilitating interviews etc
Event Management
  • Develop event concept and take charge of the key aspects of event management, such as budget planning, event related logistics, venue management, content development, website, marketing and publicity etc
  • Liaise with event vendors and venue owners on event-related matters
  • Coordinate on-site arrangements to ensure smooth delivery of the event
  • Maintain and update databases and develop mailing lists
  • Assume the secretariat role to coordinate meetings and provide periodic progress reports
How to Succeed: 
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in related communications work
  • Excellent organisational skills for meeting scheduling, secretariat work, event planning etc
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining effective working relationships with colleagues, internal stakeholders as well as external partners
  • Prior experience in running large-scale conferences and leading project teams
  • Understanding of the tech industry and public sector would be beneficial
  • Strong command of written and communication skills including:
  • Writing & Proof-reading
  • Copywriting
  • Presentation Skills
