Job Description :

This role is responsible for using data to develop metrics and analytical insights to enable data-based decision making about our people. There is also standard reporting such as headcount, statutory reporting and attrition on a monthly or scheduled basis.
The incumbent will deliver business-relevant insights about people to support segmented and targeted initiatives that build people capabilities, improve employee engagement, strengthen the AIA culture, and attract and retain the right talent.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for generating and analyzing data for the following purposes
    • Insightful information of the workforce so as to empower operational and exploratory analysis and to determine solutions with meaningful impact.
    • Monitoring key metrics and understanding root causes of changes in the metrics.
    • Monthly HR dashboard and reports required by business units
    • Regulatory reporting of people metrics such as headcount, turnover, etc.
  • Drive yearly budgeting on headcount, company-wide salaries and benefits cost and cost of HR programs.
  • Work closely with HR Business Partners in understanding and reporting headcount and people movement.
  • Analyze data to determine best practices of reporting and determine ways to simplify and automate standard reporting.
  • Identify issues/trends and outliers and form hypothesis/present findings to enable business workforce planning activities.
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting and analytics support for projects/initiatives
  • Drive the building of analytics capability building across HR.


Key Requirements
  • Bachelor degree, preferably in HR or Quantitative discipline, with 5 or more years of HR related experience.
  • Minimum of 3+ years related workforce analytics and data analysis experience.
  • Able to conduct data analyses such as regressions, factor analyses, t-tests and ANOVAs
  • Strong in translating data and analyses into actionable insights and recommendations
  • Minimum of 3+ years writing and developing HR reports
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Excel and Tableau.
  • Operating knowledge of HRIS is essential
  • Strong knowledge of HRIS system, Workday preferred
  • Naturally curious with ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems logically and systematically as required.
  • Ability to be self-sufficient, detail-oriented, independent and hands-on
