Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION
  • To do market research / analysis and management reporting
  • Assist in leading and building of a high standard Marketing team to serve the business unit, the Keppel Offshore & Marine (KOM) Group and customers in line with Group business objectives and commitments
  • Support the department managers in providing timely and credible market information in order for Executive Management to make prudent decisions
  • Support the department managers in advertising and marketing campaigns major industry events, as well as in the identification and evaluation of new market potential and business opportunities
  • Maintain positive relationships with customers through regular communications, and to assist department managers and Executive Management in the planning of customer visits
  • Provide rig forecasts, customer proposals and support the department managers in the review strategies to spearhead future growth of the Company's business
  • Review marketing practices to improve customer satisfaction and maintain competitiveness
  • Schedule and monitor customer vessel activities and to coordinate and define work scopes with customer, engineers, planning and production operations as required
  • Develop customer-centric initiatives, tender proposals and customer tracking systems
  • Handle inquiries from clients
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Degree in Engineering/ Sciences/ Business/ Marketing or any technical discipline
  • At least 2-5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in offshore and marine industry
  • Possess a good understanding of the industry, market conditions and company's present market focus and business plans
  • Possess sound understanding of contractual matters
  • Possess adequate product knowledge of rigs, ships and offshore platform
  • Possess good understanding of business protocol and relationship building with clients
  • Possess strong business and commercial acumen
  • Possess excellent presentation, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Possess leadership skill to lead, coach and motivate staff
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
