Job Description
Mis Administrator ( Salary Upto 4.5K, Central, AWS+Performance Bonus)

  • Ensure successful daily backup based on NAS server auto-email. If backup unsuccessful, go to the log files to check the reason and rectify 
  • Anti-virus - Ensure all systems are updated and online. Also to check quarantine files if there is any email wrongly quarantined 
  • Servers - Check their processes and capacity are running at optimum and ensure event logs are clear from errors. 
  • To do a full backup every Thursday - backup tape will be then kept offsite in bank safe deposit box on the same Friday. If Friday is a holiday, full backup will be done on Wednesday instead and tape to send offsite on Thursday. 
  • Monthly 
  • Arrange for payment of Monthly bills (e.g. Ethoz, JLL, Phoenix, IDT1595) 
  • Perform self health check on servers 
  • Housekeep exchange server log files 
  • Submit monthly Health check report to Admin Manager 
  • Quarterly/Yearly 
  • Quarterly data backup for all staff desktops and laptops. Backup Tape to be given to Admin Manager for safekeeping 
  • Arrange for Health check to be done by JOS in April and October yearly 
  • Review yearly renewal quotation from existing vendors (e.g. Telimax, JOS) and submit to Admin Manager for approval 
  • Yearly IT budgeting upon request by Admin Manager 
  • To arrange payment for Air-con servicing done by Provac quarterly. 
  • Send backup tapes to Crown Management for analysing 
  • Random data restoration for backup testing (dummy data) 
  • Helping out the corporate secretarial department for company board meetings and AGMs/EGMs 
  • Provide support to end-users on IT-related problems 
  • Requesting for quotations and coordinating with IT vendors/suppliers on the IT purchase 
  • Add new users in Active Directory, Exchange and VPN, if necessary 
  • Remove resigned personnel in AD and Exchange upon approval by Admin Manager 
  • Add/remove users in Deal Log or Investment database 
  • Maintain and update the email addresses and facsimile numbers on both Canon Copiers 
  • Ensure the lights on the physical IT equipment are running in green mode 
  • Install new patches on servers and other applications 
  • Install new software, updates or existing software on desktop/laptops as and when requested 
  • Record IT incidents in the spreadsheet whenever users encounter IT problems 
  • Update speed dial numbers as and when request 
  • Update and maintain BCP database 
  • Remove/add door codes either temporary or permanent upon request and approval by Admin Manager 
  • Backup and burn into CD/DVD of laptop/desktop data for all resigned staff. To be submit to Admin Manager for safekeeping 
  • Whitelist or blacklist email address upon request by Admin Manager or other users 
  • Update telephone numbers for IDD for new joiners or resigned personnel 
  • VPN - Testing to ensure is working as intended 
  • Updating the IT portion of the Internal Control & Compliance Manual (ICCM) upon request by Admin Manager 
  • Update MAS terrorists alert list or AML/CFT listing upon request by Admin Manager 
  • IT Asset recording and maintenance 
  • Assist in administrative and office matters 

  • NITEC/Diploma in an IT-related discipline 
  • Excellent technical support skills 
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Good spoken and written English 
  • Singapore Citizen Only
