This person will be responsible for the design and, configuration of data centres. Technologies include F5, Cisco products, Riverbed. A strong understanding of data centre architecture is required. The ideal candidate will be experienced with managing multiple projects and RFS simultaneously.
Interface with vendors to identify and purchase hardware and software that meets requirements defined by the IT Infrastructure team.
Evaluates and identifies opportunities for network performance and functionality improvements.
Create and maintain documentation as well as procedures.
Bachelor’s degree with 5-10 years relevant experience on supporting enterprises Data network and VoIP infrastructure, and should have following:
Ability to solve problems quickly and to automate and improve processes
Work closely with product development teams to design and implement network solutions that meet aggressive deployment schedules
Work with management to understand the requirements of a dynamic and growing business environment as it relates to the IT network needs
Respond to all audit results with an action plan; implement recommended improvements to processes
Proven experience and success with LAN, WAN, and WLAN design and implementation.
Proven experience with network capacity planning, network security principles, and general network management best practices
In-depth technical knowledge of network, PC, and platform operating systems, including Cisco, Riverbed, and F5
Working technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and Internet standards, including (OSPF, BGP, DNS, DHCP, NTP)
Competence with testing tools and procedures for voice and data circuits
Natural ability in troubleshooting, and eager to learn technologies outside of core job responsibilities.
Project planning and management
Vendor/Service Provider Management experience
Insurance Industry experience will be plus but not mandatory.
CCNA, CCNP certifications, Wireshark Certified Network Analyst (WCNA) and/or other related technical certifications are desirable
Team player, ability to work within a distributed multi-cultural team environment
Self-initiative and work without close supervision
Strong problem-solving / analytical skills

Good communication and presentation skills independently
