Job Description

Third-level network operations support responsible to design, implement and maintain LAN and WAN network.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex network-related fault.
Design and implement network projects.
Change review and impact analysis for network changes.
Planning future improvement and suggesting solutions to reduce network faults.
Plan, priorities and execute planned maintenance on network to support network growth, address software/hardware defects.
Provide training to First & Second Level Network Engineers.
Manage and monitor network capacity through proactive approach.
Service level improvement on network through design change, monitoring improvement and capacity management.
Monitor and resolve chronic issues related to network.

Key Performance Indicators
Service improvement plans suggested and implemented.
Successful completion of projects and design.
Improvements on network operations service level.
Number of preventive and corrective faults/actions.

Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering/Computer Science/Information Systems from a recognized institution.
At least 4 6 years of hands-on experience.
Good understanding of internet routing protocols and technologies including TCP/IP, OSFP, BGP, MPLS/VPN.
Knowledge of routers/switches architecture and software upgrade procedure.
Good knowledge on Telco, enterprise network and technologies.
Experienced in firewalls/IPS/IDS/Proxy/Monitoring tools.
Certifications, such as CCNP/CCIP/CCSP/ CCIE/ JNCA /ITILV3.
Possess good analytical and trouble-shooting skills in the area of technical fault isolation and rectification.
Experienced as an SME/Level 3 Engineer.
Must be equipped with the following skillsets and technical certification, like CCIE in RS (Routing and switching). Have passed written and practical.
ITIL processes Service Strategy, Service Design, Service Transition, Service Operation, and Continual Service Improvement.
In depth troubleshooting on Cisco Layer 2 and 3 switching, Cisco ISE/NAC, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, Wireless, Cisco ACI, Cloud, Cisco UC, Firewall, Bluecoat proxy, Riverbed, VPN and LB.
Must be able to troubleshoot with tcp-dump and wireshark on datagram, packet, TCP flow.
Capable of doing design, solution review and implementation and integration.
Must know how system work such as HyperV, Window/Unix server and typical applications flow.
Good presentation and communication skill.
Able to work under pressure and drive high severity case until closure with internal and external customers.
Managed network security vulnerabilities and implement workaround.
Capable of Python scripting.
