Job Description


Company Overview
  • We are currently representing our client who is in the horticultural industry. Our client is the leader in producing and distributing ready-to-eat salad, premium lettuce and herbs in South East Asia region. They are currently looking for a potential candidate to fill the role of Production and Material Planner at their office based in Cameron Highlands.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Planning and ensuring smooth running of the production process.
  • Creating production schedule and prioritize job orders.
  • Analysing daily production results and follows up on the production variances.
  • Working with production and manage schedule changes to meet urgent orders.
  • Ensuring inventory level within set target and that any deviations analysed and reported.
  • Supporting sales team to accomplish the delivery in order to meet customer demands.
  • Preparing related report timely and accurately.
  • Assisting on the planning of Production staffs and operator’s working schedule and updating weekly/monthly Duty Roster.
  • Assisting for training programs ensuring all production personnel are competence in complying with HACCP and ISO 22000 Food Safety procedures and requirements.
  • Updating and Maintaining Production Working Procedures, Forms, Records and Work Instructions.
  • Assisting or on review customers’ orders and production planning, supplies of materials as and when required.
  • Purchasing raw material required using SAP or ERP System.
  • Make sure all the raw material purchased is in a good condition and ensuring IQC checked all the new incoming raw material and liaising with supplier on damages goods which required replacement or Credit Note.
  • Arranging and monitoring delivery for all the raw material purchased either to remain as per PO ETA required date, to defer or to advance delivery to meet production required date.
  • Performing weekly collection on raw material required.
  • Monitoring and tracking raw material inventory at warehouse, ensure of practising the FIFO System, ensure raw material department perform good receipt in system every time goods arrive plant.
  • Preparing and assisting account department on SST, Import duty and others related matters to ensure that all goods purchased is comply with Government rules and regulation.
  • Any other related job responsibilities as assigned by the Superior/Department Manager.


Job Requirements:
  • At least Diploma or Degree in Engineering/Supply Chain Management/Business Administration or any other relevant field.
  • Minimum 4 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Knowledge in SAP or ERP system is an advantage.
  • Possess strong GMP, HACCP and ISO 22000 knowledge will be an advantage.
  • Excellent, effective written and strong verbal communication skills in English, Malay and Mandarin.
