Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Assist in establishing, maintaining and improving project document control system.
  • Assist in managing and controlling of all confidential materials, including contract documents, incoming and outgoing documents.
  • Update the issuance of all the transmittal and drawings according to the revision.
  • Check Mails, Faxes and ensure proper upkeep of records.
  • Assist with and ensure drawings and documents are properly distributed as required.
  • Coordinate all activities related to the Document Control procedure, including technical documents, drawings, and commercial correspondence.
  • Input document data into the standard registers ensuring that the information is accurate and up to date.
  • Generate the various document control reports as required.
  • Tying of site documents, and follow up on all the site needs.
  • Make sure that controlled copies of latest approved documents and drawings are given to the appropriate staff, subcontractors and suppliers as applicable.
  • Maintain updated records of all approved documents and drawings and their distribution clearly.
  • Maintain the documents and drawings in the Document Control office under safe custody without any damage or deterioration with easy traceability.
  • Maintain the files and control logs as required by the project.
  • Any tasks or jobs assigned by Management.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Degree /Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Min. 3 years of relevant working experience for Degree Holder.
  • Min. 5 years of relevant working experience for Diploma Holder.
  • Familiar with basic codes and standards for the trade that is employed in.
  • Preferably familiar with Water/Wastewater or Waste to Energy.
  • Practical / hands-on experience in document management roles in EPC projects.
  • Basic understanding of Engineering / Procurement / Construction / Commissioning documents.
  • Self-directed and highly-motivated.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
  • Detail-oriented, dependable and trustworthy.
  • Excellent MS Suite software knowledge.
  • Good working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat.
  • Familiar with e-Document management systems.
  • Ability to keep clear and accurate records and reports.
  • Familiar with contract administration.
