Project Manager, Innovation Office  


At the heart of Innovation, we innovate by identifying, defining, designing and proving new transformative solution concepts to address future market needs and deliver new customer values. We effectively embrace open innovation and co-innovation with the ecosystem of partners, collaborators and customers, with whom we execute Proof-Of-Concept (POC) projects.

The Project Manager will play a critical role in the initiation, execution and completion of these POC projects. As well, the Project Manager will contribute to pre-POC and post-POC activities. These pre-POC activities include ideation and design thinking, while the post-POC activities include project planning of next steps.

  • Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders 
  • Translate new transformative solution concepts and design (which are developed through team efforts), into high level prototype functional and user process requirements 
  • Ensure technical feasibility of solution concepts for implementation and prototyping by development team 
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects 
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget 
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation 
  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress 
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs 
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques 
  • Manage the relationship with all stakeholders 
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks 
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors 
  • Report and escalate to management as needed 
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation 

  • Degree in ICT-related disciplines such as Electronics and Computer Science 
  • PMP certified or equivalent qualifications 
  • Expertise in project / program management 
  • 8 years in ICT solutions project management, in areas of business transformation, process re-engineering, automation and digitalisation projects 
  • Track record in the successful delivery of customer projects in the above areas 
  • Experience in APeJ markets is an added advantage 
  • Working knowledge of data science technologies 
  • Working knowledge in design thinking and agile development methodologies 
  • Familiarity with UX/UI work 
  • Certifications on software programming desirable but not necessary
