R&D Technology Leader – Personal Care Chemicals

I am currently working on an exciting opportunity with a leading International Specialty Chemicals Business to help them identify a suitable candidate for a R&D Technology Leader position based in Singapore. Reporting to the Global R&D Head, the ideal candidate will be responsible for mediating technology development activities from concept discovery all the way to licensing.

Areas of focus
- Contribute to technical strategy
- Identify opportunities within existing and new project
- New product introductions and evaluations
- M&A opportunities according to the customer’s technology needs and client strategy
- Be the industry expert for Technical Forums, Regulations and Regulatory Authorities

Requirements
- Degree in Science
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Personal Care Applications / Formulation Development or in Consumer goods
- Strong knowledge in Surfactants/Polymer/Emulsion and Colloidal Chemistry
- Excellent Interpersonal skills and communication skills
- Team player
- Willingness to travel
