Job Description
Our client is seeking a talented, professional, and university qualified Regional Human Resources Business Partner who holds a strong knowledge of employment laws to join their Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Human Resources and be an exceptional influencer, with a strong expertise and knowledge of Human Resources practice. A background in luxury retail is preferred but not essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES


1 - Recruitment and Selection

o Process all local recruitment requests in an effective and efficient manner

o Manage the recruitment process

o Maintain up-to-date recruitment progress report, talent database and all related staffing communication

o Managing orientation program for employee to the business and culture

2 - HRIS

o To ensure accurate data is entered into the Human Resources Information System as required

o To monitor timely update of personnel records (personal details, position, salary, appraisal outcomes, leave records, training and awards)

3 - Compensation and Benefits

o To ensure accurate and correct information is submitted to payroll prior to the payroll deadline and to co-ordinate to ensure a smooth and efficient operation (variable compensation, overtime, expatriates compensation, special payments)

o To complete payroll processing as required

o To gather all necessary data to benchmark salaries and benefits for the Brands which this role supports

o To compile all data needed for the Annual Salary Review, and the Annual Performance Appraisal Analysis for the Brands which this role supports

o To monitor and alert the Head of Human Resources to any variance between the budgeted and actual salaries and headcount

o Produce and submit information to for "knowledge sharing" with Group HR and other countries as required

o Provide recommendations and support to HR representatives across the region

o To provide information to Expatriate staff regarding C&B (Tax; Social Benefits, other benefits) as required

4 - Employee Relations

o To foster a conducive working environment through employee relations activities and communication

o To conduct exit and grievance interviews with all departments/staff

o To manage all local employee relations matters for Brands which this role supports

o To manage employee complaints, disputes and grievances for Brands

5 - Training and Development

o Identify key skills, specialty skills and propose training needs accordingly

o Interface with Group HR and external vendors and suppliers for the implementation of corporate training or training programs to meet the business needs where appropriate

o Managing, communicating and delivering important projects that impact other parts of the organisation

6 - Expatriates Management

o To advise on expatriate employment contracts where required (in conjunction with Group HR)

o To manage the relocation of expatriates people aspects (coaching, advice, experience sharing) and HR technical aspects (Visa, Housing, schools, car and clubs where applicable)

o To deliver expatriate on-boarding training where required

7 - Budget, Financial Reporting

o To ensure that all people costs fall within the dedicated budget

o To partner closely with regional HR Business Partners to ensure relevant data for budgeting and financial reporting is accurate

REQUIREMENTS


o You have at least 10 years of working experience in the related field, with experience in MNC

o Retail industry is mandatory

o Highly motivated and ready to work in a challenging environment, you will get part of an entrepreneurial project. Implication and results are the keys of your success within the group.

o Degree in Human Resources

o At least 10 years experience in MNC, as HR Business Partner

o Positive work attitude, Self-Starter, Hand-on and able to work independently

o Excellent numeracy skills combined with an inquiring & analytical mind

o Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels

o Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
