Job Description
Our client, a company listed on the Australian stock exchange, is a technology company that shapes vision through the power of modern and cutting edge nanotechnology. They are grounded in nano imprint science to deliver vision based applications. With their software and hardware, they successfully produced the revolutionary Eyefly3D - a thin, flexible, film (based on nano structures), when affixed to a high resolution mobile/tablet display turns mundane 2D into a spectacular glasses-free 3D viewing platform. This extraordinary plastic film is also the first ever accessory that allows viewing of 3D content in both portrait and landscape modes, while offering almost negligible 2D pixelization, while also providing features of a screen protector. They have signed a Joint Development Program with Singapore’s Nanyang Technological University on a project that is goaled in using the same hardware to correct vision.

The Sales VP is Entrepreneurial, yet has the discipline for adhering to process for managed growth.
The position is based in Singapore and the role is responsible for leading and managing the Company’s overall Sales, with an emphasis on its line of consumer based product – EyeFly3D. EyeFly3D is a thin film (based on a patent pending process of unique nano structures) that allows users to view 3D (without the use of bulky 3D glasses) on mobile devices (iPhones in particular). It also acts as a screen protector.

The appointed person will be goaled with developing sales and sales profitability and gaining market share through identified Sales channel(s). Intimate knowledge of how a high technology consumer product is marketed in Game Stores and Consumer based stores will be required. Domain knowledge in handling e-commerce platforms including using various Search Engines/Social Media Platforms to underpin sales is crucial to this position.  

Working closely with the Technical team, there is a shared goal to ensure that there is an effective strategy to ensure our products meet end users’ standards and demands.

  • Provide leadership, development  and management of the development of the sales and digital sales strategies and policies aimed at achieving and exceeding aggressive revenue and margin goals.
  • Responsible for retail inventory management with Larger Electronic Chain stores in Asia and in the US.  
  • Build an in-depth and accurate knowledge of the best in class Channel Strategy to address key market areas in the Retail, Electronics, Consumer products in the B2C, B2B and Digital platforms.
  • Build a Sales Strategy as well as executing to it for the Company’s B2C products – focused on E-commerce, with consumer product domain experience.
  • Manage an effective market intelligence activity providing the Company Corporate with accurate information on competitive products and activities.

  • Ideally over ten years’ relevant experience in sales and marketing of consumer electronic products using traditional and digital platforms.
  • In depth retail management and experience in handling Large Retail stores in Asia and in the US is mandatory.
  • Social Media and e-commerce platforms and tools domain expertise and experience with a demonstrable track record for success.
