Business Function
Group Finance aims to deliver world-class standards in reporting, financial planning and finance processes. We provide insights and analyses that help the bank make sound business decisions – whether in the areas of product development or customer profitability. We also provide capital management, business planning, forecasting, and tax and accounting advisory services.
The bank is also a certified Accredited Training Organisation (ATO) for the Singapore Qualification Programme by the Singapore Accountancy Commission and an Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Approved Employer.
  • Responsible for delivery of Daily PL report production and PL decomposition 
  • Perform analytical review of the key PL drivers for the business with market analysis as part of monthly and quarterly desk commentary.
  • Perform trending analysis of key PL drivers tie in with capital/regulatory requirements to provide business with better insights on revenue drivers
  • Perform controls such as off-market transaction checks and deal monitoring checks to ensure accurate reported PL.
  • Perform monthly Balance Sheet and PL accounts reconciliation 
  • Continuously streamline workflow to enhance operational efficiency within the team to provide satisfactory support to T&M team
  • Facilitate interaction with FO to better understand trading activities and strategies
  • Participate in projects and initiatives which involves new product reviews, systems implementation/enhancement projects UAT testing and process reviews
  • Drive changes in existing processes to ensure continual improvement 

  • 4 - 8 years relevant work experience in product control will be considered
  • Good knowledge of treasury products, especially in the areas of pricing/valuation issues for interest rates and foreign exchange
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment driven by constant requirements to enhance the way we work
  • Good logical and control mindset
  • Self-starter, and able to work independently as well as in a team context 
  • Capable of driving changes in the team  
  • Possess keen analytical skills, meticulous and attention to details.
  • Strong oral/written communication skills
  • Good degree preferably in Accounting, Banking or Finance
