Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Coordinate the identification and ranking of IT risks, and the classification and tiering of risks and risk impact
  • Monitor IT risks and ensure mitigation plans are executed for identified gaps
  • Oversee processes to identify, assess, improve, and optimize IT risk management practices
  • Support IT governance rollout, monitoring and reporting activities
  • Coordinate control self-assessment exercises as part of IT governance framework
  • Monitor compliance, keep abreast of legislative and regulatory trends to address potential impact and non-compliance/gaps
  • Provide compliance support in reviewing and advising the business on issues of data privacy, confidentiality and outsourcing
  • Assist in IT audit planning, coordinate information requests and compiling of reports
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Strong knowledge of IT and legal risk concepts
  • 3-5 years’ experience with compliance and security audits and risk mitigation plans
  • Familiarity with governance concepts
  • Experience developing and completing risk assessments for internal and external customers.
  • Familiarity with industry and government regulations, as applicable.
  • A bachelor's degree (or the equivalent) typically is required, preferably in an analytical field (such as general business, economics, psychology, computer science, mathematics, statistics or finance).
