Senior Molding Engineer
Job Description :

Up to S$5K or Higher + AWS + Good Bonus!!
US Medical MNC/ Tuas (Islandwide Transport)
Monday - Friday / 8am - 5pm
Experienced in Plastic Injection Molding Tools & Equipments / Manufacturing Processes

Our client is one of the global leading manufacturers in the medical industry that are looking for suitable candidates to join their growing business as a Senior Molding Engineer.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Oversee areas of molding process, mold maintenance & repair, as well as molding problem analysis and providing solutions.
  • Participate actively as a resource team leader in facilitating and coaching the Process Teams to achieve the department's KPI.
  • Direct, supervise and coordinate machine set-ups and operations requiring a broad knowledge of injection processes, automation knowledge and production engineering applications to provide economical part/product manufacturing that meets quality, quantity, schedule and cost requirements.
  • Investigate chronic and major molding process problems and implement corrective/preventive actions.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all equipment are maintained in proper condition and to develop and administer a comprehensive preventive maintenance for all equipment and review periodically for improvement if necessary.
  • Develop and implement validation programs for all molding processes.
  • Plan, execute and conclude all process validation via corporate guidelines by working closely with and QA to ensure smooth liaison of work and apply design of engineering to work
  • Review all molding first piece qualification results and take necessary corrective actions included mold deviation if required
  • Initiate Six sigma project to address chronic process related issue.
  • Participate in cost reduction activities involving equipment modifications / improvement /substitution etc.
  • Participate or drive continuous improvement initiatives/activities.
  • Any other adhoc duties given by supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Min. Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Mins. 5 years of relavent working experience in handling manufacturing process (injection molding)
  • Possess leadership skills - manage approx 50 - 80 staff
OTHER INFORMATION:
  • Location : Tuas (Transport Provided at Islandwide Locations)
  • Working days : Mon - Fri / 8am - 5pm
  • Salary : Up to S$5K / Negotiable (Salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications).
