Job Description
Senior Presales Consultant (Workflow Automation Services)

Purpose
  • The Senior Presales Consultant will be integral in the business development processes around workflow automation solutions and related services. 
  • You will support the sales processes with customised solution presentations and demonstration. 
  • You will also become the interface between sales and technical consultants where you will help translation needs and expectations into the aspired outcomes of the client. 
Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with Sales Representatives and Management to meet sales objectives and revenue forecasts. 
  • Leading the requirement gathering to delivery of workflow solutions and services to clients. 
  • Act as the technical point of contact during customer requirements. 
  • Coordinate customer pre-sales meetings to ensure seamless transfer of customer requirements to technical requirements. 
  • Develop and present customized versions of Solution Presentation and Demonstration based on researches and due diligence performed. 
  • Establish meaningful sales visits and customer calls to progress the sales opportunity along the standard sales processes. 
  • Participate in Trade-Shows, User Conference and Sales Seminars. 
  • Coordinate closely with technical responses for Request for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Information (RFI), and Conduct Proof of Concepts (POC). 
  • Compose internal and external documentation e.g. business requirement document, project charter, statement of works, that fully reflects all activities related to the winning solution strategy. 
  • Work with development team in support of software enhancements from customer requirements. 
  • Play the role of a coach and mentor for local presales in operating subsidiaries 
Requirements:
  • At least 8 years of architecting experience in content management / business process management, with at least 10+ years of business experience. 
  • Bachelor Degree in IT or equivalent 
  • Strong experience in enterprise software sales particularly around content management and business process management solutions. 
  • Good communication skills - able to comprehend the needs and requirements of customers and to propose the most desired future state solution. 
  • Good presenter and comfortable for various levels of engagements (one-to-one, large group, and C-level, etc.) 
  • Provide expert solution architecture and design skills in areas of people, paper, and processes. 
  • Passionate and pleasant disposition, calm, and level-headed when under pressure. 
Desirable
  • Prior background with print management providers 
  • Knowledge of managed print services, office devices, document management, and scanning, OCR and indexing technology and outsourcing 
  • Basic financial knowledge 
  • Analytical skills 
  • Project Management Certification 
  • Lean Six Sigma and Design Thinking exposure 
  • Exposure to working within the Asia Pacific region with global clients 
  • Familiarity with formulating win strategies, communicating value propositions
