Job Description
My client is a world leader in the medical device industry and now seek an experienced Process Engineer to lead process validation, equipment troubleshooting and project management

Responsibilities:
  • Lead Process engineering team to ensure seamless support to the product teams in meeting their respective objectives.
  • Assume prime responsibility for engineering initiatives to ensure optimal machine up-time is available for production.
  • Lead equipment upgrade and assembly process productivity initiative and engineering efforts to improve yield, output and quality
  • Provide engineering expertise in achieving equipment reliability and process capability to achieve desired metrics
  • Ensure optimal deployment of engineering resources
  • Lead validation activities and projects by providing necessary engineering support
  • Plan and execute equipment maintenance/ upgrade by embarking on structured equipment risk assessment and prioritization
  • Work with cross functional teams to achieve equipment effectiveness through total productive maintenance program
  • Work internally to execute continuous improvement projects to minimize disruption
  • Manage capital expenditure initiation and spending control


Requirements:
  • Bachelors in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Materials Engineering with 5 – 10 years’ experience in automation and assembly process
  • Experience with working in a manufacturing environment of a cGMP regulated industry (Medical/Life Science/Pharma)
  • Stronghold with assembly process, automation, tooling & fixtures designs
  • Experience in project management will be a big plus
  • Technical specialization in assembly/ automation process
  • Working knowledge on polymers, especially with catheter manufacturing will be a big plus
  • Prior expertise in communication with internal and external partners
