Senior QA Executive (Manufacturing)
Job Description :


Job Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring all the required product and process testing is carried out to verify that good quality and safe products are consistently being produced.
  • To monitor and ensure that on-line inspection to detect gluing defects, printing defects and die cut defects during production is carried out effectively.
  • To ensure that the QMS and all SOPs strictly adhere to customer & statutory requirements, GMP, BRC Standards and Food Safety requirements and assisting in ensuring that continuous improvements are made to all existing systems and practices.
  • To generate reports pertaining to production output, quality issues, process loss and yield , 5S as well as ensuring Production Orders are closed accurately and on a timely basis on the ERP LN System.
  • To generate weekly/monthly reports on quality issues identified in relation to the incoming raw materials, in process product defects, as well as outgoing finished products.
  • To coordinate with the required personnel and ensure a full root cause analysis is carried out and proper corrective/preventive action reports are compiled to address these issues.
  • To ensure a regular studies are done for all new/existing products by checking the design and ensuring there is no issues with the machine capabilities, at each stage, from the beginning to the delivery of the job improvements to the design or conversion.
  • Assisting your Manager / QA Engineer with handling all customer complaints by preparing clear and concise reports within the established time frames by co-coordinating with the required personnel and ensuring a full root cause analysis is carried out and proper corrective/preventive action is taken to address the issues.
  • Assisting your Manager / QA Engineer with ensuring all planned activities and audits are carried out in accordance with the annual Quality Calendar whilst co-ordinating and/or effectively managing all internal, second party and third party audits.
  • To embark an all necessary endeavours and co-ordinate specific tasks to ensure the organisations environmental & sustainability goals are met.
  • To review procurement practices & ensure that it aligns with the company standards & goals and assisting with the Vendor Assessments & evaluations.
  • To comply with all company policies, procedures and regulations and take all necessary precautions to ensure product safety and quality is never compromised in the course of carrying out all your duties and tasks.
  • Analyzing processes and implementing measures which will effect continuous improvements to efficiencies and product quality, in accordance with Companies Quality & Food Safety Policy as well as our Manufacturing Philosophy.
  • Carrying out all other related tasks as may be required or assigned by your Manager.


Requirements:
  • Candidates should have an Engineering or Quality Assurance background and ideally possess an LCCI diploma or Bachelors Degreein a related discipline.
  • Experience within the manufacturing industry for a minimum of 2 years will be preferred. Fresh grads are encouraged to apply too (training will be provided).
  • Experience in setting up and implementing documented setting up and implementing documented standard procedures will be an advantage.
  • Experience in Quality Audits will similarly also be an advantage.
  • Good IT skills are essential for this role and experience in preparing excel reports, charts and using power point to present weekly qualities summaries are vital.
  • Candidates must possess good interpersonal skills /and able to communicate well with all levels within the organisation in English and Malay.
  • Candidates must also have the ability to work well both independently as well as within a team.
  • Candidates able to work shift, 8.30 am-20.30 pm (Monday Friday), Saturday half-day 8.30 -12.45 pm


Additional Info:
There are shift allowance (night shift =RM10/day , Day shift =RM1-RM3, and meal allowance =RM2)
