Carry out retail audits of point of sales and support implementation of corrective action plans
Review/set up boutiques SOP and ensure its compliance with Internal Control standards and retail guidelines
Plan an audit schedule through setting up a risk assessment of all point of sales across South East Asia
Conduct audits of these point of sales to ensure compliance with SOP, retail guidelines and contractual agreements
Identify main gaps and set up corrective action plans
Communicate effectively the results of the audits to local and regional Management
Support the main stakeholders involved in the set-up of action plans and follow up until their full implementation
Making recommendations for improvements and modifications for procedures
Develop Internal Control in the South-East Asia region
Develop Internal Control processes and mindset in the region by implementing existing framework (HQ guidelines, existing SOP), developing customized controls for the Asia region and training the point of sales staff on internal control processes
Develop a tool to help Management identify and monitor abnormal transactions to decrease noncompliance in sales activities and inventory management
Coordinate Internal Control action plans implementation and process continuous improvement
Follow up on the latest Internal Audit recommendations and the corresponding actions plans within the various departments of the entity; and provide a clear picture of the progresses and status
Coordinate yearly Internal Control self-assessment campaign
Drive the improvement and automation of financial processes (e.g. purchase orders, payment modules)
Assist brands in their development in the region (new doors openings)
Support regional / local management in setting up financial systems, processes and control framework for new doors openings
Assist Internal Control Manager in all ad-hoc projects.
Qualifications and Attribute:
Ideally of Master’s Degree, you have at least 5 years of working experience in the related field, preferably in retail operations. Highly motivated and ready to work in a challenging environment, you will get part of an entrepreneurial project. Implication and results are the keys of your success within the group.
Preferably Experience in retail operations
Ability to determine different ways to audit when information is not available
Strong Problem-solving skills, to identify problems immediately and solve them
Well-organized, pro-active and an independent thinker
Strong leadership and effective communication skills
Good understanding of ERP systems
Willing to travel 40% of working time in the South-East Asia Region
Fluent in one or several South East Asian languages would be a plus, to handle the local market
