Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leading practices regarding contractor recruitment options to align with defined objectives and budget. 
  • Operates with a large degree of autonomy and independence. Provides recommendations on policy/process improvements and provides input to the development of new procedures for area of responsibility. Typically supervises, plans, and prioritizes complex activities as a team. 
  • Uses judgment to make a variety of decisions. Decisions occasionally which impact other teams 
  • Builds a quality relationship with the internal customers and external recruitment agencies 
  • Manages customer/ client relationships within own area of responsibility. Resolves most customer/client requests/issues/disputes escalated by lower level staff. Seeks assistance when needed. Builds relationships beyond own team to better service customers. 
  • Applies comprehensive knowledge of a professional or technical field. Considered a senior resource in functional/technical area and often called upon to provide functional/technical guidance to less experienced incumbents 
  • Maintain the candidate database (e.g. updating contact information, candidates- geographical locations, and availability for new work). 
  • Effectively manage stakeholders within the organization as well at vendor organization 


Job Description
  • Manage the Sourcing of Candidates as Contractors/Permanent for Hitachi Consulting. Define hiring and sourcing approach for identified positions 
  • Designs, develops and maintain the sourcing process in the organization (including its description, recruitment measurement definitions, regular measurement reporting, taking proper actions to close gaps) 
  • Conduct external sourcing - recruitment events (such as job fairs). Develop list of candidates to be screened. 
  • Designs the selection matrix for choosing the optimum recruitment channel and recruitment source 
  • Explores the market best practices in recruitment and staffing and implement appropriate best practices in the organization 
  • Builds a quality relationship with the internal customers and external recruitment agencies 
  • Monitors and constantly reduces the costs of the recruitment process 
  • Acts as a single point of contact for managers regarding recruitment topics 
  • Prepare daily / weekly reports for internal review to show tasks in progress, the number candidates searched, and the number of qualified candidates found etc. 
  • Build networks to find qualified candidates. 


Qualification/Experience required:
  • Having at least 6+ years of experience in IT Hiring/Talent Acquisition 
  • Should have the abilities to mentor new staff 
  • Should have good communication skills as you would be the POC for all the hiring managers and having prior communication skills in escalation management/mitigating risks etc would be an added advantage 
  • Should have prior hiring experience in Singapore market as this would have helped you to understand the local labour/employment laws. 
  • Should have prior experience in posting jobs in various job portals in Singapore 
  • Having Bachelors or Masters in Humanity/HRMS/Psychology is highly preferable
