Job Description
Our client is a Western Multinational Company provide industrial automation solution.

Position Title: Solution Architect, Malaysia (based in KL, hiring in Malaysia)


The Solution Architect is responsible for collaboration with company’s sales and distributors to implement sales strategies and plans for assigned products and services to meet or exceed annual sales goals. Individual provides domain expertise for industries, applications, and technologies related to assigned products / services and provides ongoing support to sales engineers in closing orders. Responsible for establishing and maintaining engineering relationships at key accounts. Responsible for identifying customer technical / commercial challenges and engaging appropriate resources to bring issues to resolution.


• Works within assigned geography to execute business plan by focusing identified conversion target accounts, providing ongoing support for the established Market Focused Plan, ensuring that quotations for hardware/software include related attached services, supporting local company’s and distributor initiatives and marketing programs, and providing ongoing support to sales engineers in closing orders

• Engages distributors to develop specialist team, ensures awareness and appropriate knowledge of new and existing services and solutions, supports local marketing making seminars and initiatives and works with the District Channel Manager to give appropriate feedback on distributor performance

• Managing effective communications between all team members

• Customer relationship management processes and increasing customer satisfaction levels

• Meeting monthly, quarterly and annual services order targets

• Aggressively deploy growth initiatives

• Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support

• Understanding customer related ‘critical to quality’ measures and then driving business improvement through improving these measures

• High level of expertise in and knowledge of Intelligent Motor Control, Medium Voltage, Standard Drives and Drive Systems

• Intermediate level of expertise and knowledge of Integrated Architecture, Motion Control, Components and Services and Solutions

• Build relationships quickly and effectively


• Bachelor's Degree in technical discipline (Automation, Instrumentation, Electronic, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering)

• Intermediate level of expertise and knowledge of Integrated Architecture, Motion Control, Components and Services and Solutions

• Min 3 years relevant experience, preferred customer selling experience

• Self-driven, good attitude and pro-activeness

• Good communication skills and able to work well with all levels
