Job Description

Business Function
Global Transaction Services (GTS) comprises of Cash & Trade, Securities Services and Fiduciary Services. In an increasingly borderless world marked by burgeoning trade flows, expertise in trade finance services is an invaluable asset. Trade Finance, together with Cash Management, is the mainstay of GTS and is extended to SME and corporate clients for their local and cross-border financial transaction needs.
In Trade Product Development, you will be part of a team that works on continuously enhancing trade finance solutions offered to GTS customers across multiple countries, both for documentary trade as well as open account trade. Whether it is through conducting user experience research or by developing specifications for the next generation digital solutions, you will be exposed to a myriad of business scenarios giving you an in-depth view of Trade Finance.
Responsibilities
  • Works with GTS Trade product managers to understand the high-level business requirements and translates them into detailed functional requirements for the technology teams;
  • Analyses the requirements from change management and reusability perspectives;
  • Documents the expected customer impact and ensures that it is fed into the commercialization plans
  • Creates and executes project work plans, monitors progress and revises plan as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements;
  • Reports on project progress, problems, and solutions to stakeholders;
  • Serves as the central party to liaise with Technology, to facilitate user story elaboration and backlog grooming;
  • Supports Product Owners to coordinate project implementation activities (e.g. requirements gathering, testing, and production deployment), sharing accountability for project delivery on-time and on-budget;
  • Facilitates knowledge building and knowledge sharing data in the organization.

Requirements
  • Degree in Banking, Computer Science or Engineering related field with 5-10 years of experience;
  • Good knowledge of Institutional Banking esp. Trade Finance from system design, implementation or operations perspective;
  • Proven track record in managing and delivering complex technical projects from initiation to implementation;
  • Strong communication, organization and time management skills;
  • Excellent team player and team builder;
  • Ability to deal with multiple projects and deadlines;
  • Certifications such as Certified Trade Finance Professional or Project Management related certifications (e.g. PMP, Certified Scrum Master) will be strong advantages.
  • Additional good skills to have:
    • Experience with Agile,
    • Design thinking, experimentation and A/B testing.
