Job Description

My client is a global name in the R&D and manufacturing of precision based optics and optical equipment and now seek an experienced Electronics Engineer

  • Act as team leader of the electronics hardware integration in advanced digital imaging and precision motion control
  • Develop electronic subsystems for control of complex optical and microscopic instruments
  • Perform architect design, circuit design, and firmware development of electronic subsystems.
  • Lead team members in the design of electronic subsystems.
  • Review the designs of the team members.
  • Select electronics components for new product development.
  • Liaise with supplier and operation for design improvement.
  • Participate in lean and continuous improvement initiatives and projects.

  • PhD, Master and good Bachelor degree in Electronics or Computer Engineering with preferably at least 8 – 10 years of experience in electronics design and firmware development
  • Rich knowledge and experience in the design of real-time embedded system (FW architecture) for servo system, robotics, motion control, and computerized control.
  • Competency in PCBA design/review/verification is a must
  • Knowledge of USB, CAN bus, I2C, and microprocessor architecture is a plus
  • Expertise with control theory, FPGA design will be an added advantage
