SUMMIT – Junior Software Engineer

Job Description

In a challenging and multicultural environment, the candidate will join a new team built up to tackle a SUMMIT upgrade project and revisit the FO/BO STP link. He will be working with technical expert in Summit in the latest version.

Main responsibilities

As SUMMIT developer, you are in charge of handling technical activities to upgrade to the new version and benefit from the new module, as well as revisiting STP link to our new target FO system.

 Provide technical expertise on C++ developement

 Provide level 2 and level 3 application support (technical and functional) on SUMMIT Applications for:

- Requests management (users and others IT teams)

- Operations management

- Application monitoring

- Incident Management

- Problemes Management

- Continuous Improvement and Quality Control

 Contribute to release management process (packaging, compilation, merge, …)

 Contribute to the deployment of the release in non-production environments

Qualifications and Profile


 4+ years development on C++

 Relevant experience in Grid Computing (data-synapse)

 Solid knowledge in Sybase, Unix, DB Admin, Shell scripting, PL/SQL, MQ Series, CFT and Control-M

 Autonomous, self motivated and excellent team player

 Strong perseverance and diligence towards attaining goals and effective time management

 Careful observance of standards and processes

Good to have:

 Few years experience as a developer in SUMMIT application in CIB organization

 Solid knowledge in Configuration Management

 Exposure in Financial IRD products IRD and Capital Market FO/BO environment

 Exposure to Capital Markets applications

 Exposure on monitoring solution (like HPOMI)

 Ability to work well under pressure
