Job Description
Job Scope

1. Administration and support of servers and databases;

2. Daily review of all batch jobs. The problem logs to be raised for batch job failures;

3. Daily review of security, system and applicationevent logs of servers;

4. Perform annual OS/Web Server/SQL hardening;

5. Perform system administration, change requests(program migration, configuration changes, etc) on servers;

6. Update and compile operational reports on system capacity, database growth, change requests statistics, etc;

7. Review and recommend security patches monthly for deployment of security updates on servers;

8. Preventive maintenance and server housekeeping activities to keep the servers optimal;

9. Performs technical refresh of QA environment to provide meaningful and representative data for UAT testing on servers;

10. Documentation update on existing technical/operations guide;

11. Troubleshooting of operational and interface related issues on servers;

12. New technology exploration and conduct proof-ofconcept;

13. DR server recovery and server verification;

14. Provide support for new or enhancement projects; and

15. Perform task as designated .

Skillsets Areas

1. Experience in administration of Windows server 2012/2016, Linux operating systems and MSSQL 2012/2016

2. Proficient in Windows Active Directory 2012, DNS and familiar with WOG desktop environment

3. Apply concepts of IT Service Management (Incident, Change, Service, Release and Configuration)

4. Understand concepts of IM8 and hardening of operating systems, web servers and databases

5. Experience in SharePoint administration is a plus

6. Proficient in software CA Workload Automation and Oracle Service Bus (will be an added advantage)
