Our client is a lead Cyber-security vendor across a global team in threat and attack management. The company is a software provider in network, mobile, cloud and data security with an expanding team presence in the region.

About the Technical Lead - Cloud Security - APAC
  • As a Technical Lead, you will be managing a team of cloud security architects across APAC.
  • You will provide direction/subject matter expertise when it comes to the cloud.
  • You will be involved in strategic opportunities with the team looking at the cloud stack, from infrastructure, platform and software/application layer. 
  •  As you are knowledgeable in the cloud, you will lead the team to understand how a customer designs their cloud environment. You will provide guidance on the different considerations made when setting up a cloud environment.
  • You will overview and lead a team of Cloud Security engineers across APAC
  • Provide pre-sales technical support to territory managers, resellers and customers in building the customer base and brand presence in the APAC region
  • Provide technical meetups with customers and re-sellers to in product and solution promotion while working closely with key partners and customers
  • Conduct technical POC and competitive reviews
  • Keep up to date with education sessions for partners
  • Involved in selected post-sales support when required
  • Motivator and advisor to Cloud Security engineers including career development for the team
About You
Please note: Interested Applicants must be able to work in Singapore.
  • Bachelor of Science, Engineer or Computer Science or a technical school certificate
  • Preferably with 1-2 years of team lead or management experience
  • If you are an individual contributor at the moment, it would be good if you have done functional leadership or project-based leadership.
  • Expertise in any of the major cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, VMware, Google, etc. (Implementation or design experience with these cloud technologies)
  • Deep understanding of cloud computing technologies
  • Experience in Senior level customer engagement with regards to best practices of the different cloud solutions, project management and risk mitigation.
  • Ability to create a strategy taking into consideration, business, product and possible technical challenges. 
  • Knowledge in cloud security technologies is a plus
  • Experience working in a multi-cultural environment as you will be working and engaging with clients and counterparts across APAC.
  • Ability to travel in the APAC region (50% travelling)
