Job Description

  • Tooling/Mechanical Design

  • Develop, design or modify fixtures, Tooling and equipments using CAD systems such as Creo Parametric, Solidworks or other design packages
  • Manage production Tooling to ensure compliance with Corporate and local requirements
  • Support design and documentation reviews to ensure compliance
  • Interface with High Volume Facilities to coordinate Tooling changes, product transfer and to support standardization
  • Support technical staff in troubleshooting
  • Direct report to supervisor and provide assistance in Tooling issues

Experience and Knowledge:
  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in tool design / tool fabrication in volume manufacturing
  • Proficiency in 3D and 2D design softwares
  • Able to create documented drawings to communicate with manufacturing and outsourcing
  • Knowledge of international mechanical standards
