Job Description
UX Researcher 

This Researcher will support China Export Advertising. China Export Advertising's mission is: to connect every business in China with people around the rest of the world. Our strategy for winning in China is twofold: (a) unlock exponential growth by building products that open the top-of-funnel and (b) create the highest trust in our advertisers by building integrity products that prevent and educate. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 
  • Design and execute custom research to support the objectives of the advertising business and meet the needs of people 
  • Represent the voice of the large and small advertisers and user to internal teams 
  • Employ innovative research methods that lead to key insights 
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners (e.g., Product Design, Product Management, Product Marketing, Engineering, Data Science) 
  • Communicate effectively to drive action and inspire new ideas 
  • Work collaboratively with other UX researchers to leverage and build upon knowledge 
QUALIFICATIONS 
  • Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors Psychology, or related field 
  • 6+ years of experience conducting research on complex user experiences 
  • Expert in quantitative methods, qualitative methods, or both 
  • Strong evangelist for user-centred design best practices 
  • Experience in working collaboratively with cross-functional teams such as Engineering, Product Design, Data Science/Analytics, and Product Marketing and involving them deeply in the research process 
  • Must be able to multitask and stay on track in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment 
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with a proven history of influencing teams to action 
  • Understands the strengths and limitations of different research methodologies and how to apply them throughout the design lifecycle 
  • Proven ability to sync the data from multiple sources in order to best represent user needs 
QUALIFICATIONS 
  • Master's or PhD in Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors Psychology, or related field 
  • 3+ years of experience related to advertising 
  • 3+ years of experience working embedded in a product team
