In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels. Responsibilities
Drive project and program delivery based on DBS digital strategy
Responsible for the implementation of strategic projects based on a hybrid approach of cloud based and on-prem technology stacks.
Work with enterprise, cloud and application architects to develop solution architecture across different platforms and the implementation approach for each these solutions.
Determine the implementation strategy and plan for these projects the schedule, budget and resources for these projects.
Setup and implement the projects with the agile cells setup for this
Technology Project management
Responsible for ensuring project delivery on time on schedule and with quality
Manage technology resources across the different platforms in the implementation of these projects.
Ensure adherence to enterprise policies on IT security and information security and developing approaches to ensure protection of data while leveraging cloud platforms
Effectively communicate with both technology and business team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the program, projects and project management community and with other stakeholders if necessary.
Resolve issues at the project or line level and escalate issues which cannot be resolved in a timely and accurate manner.
Manage key stakeholders and business and technology leads
Manage and communicate effectively with domain leads at senior level and working level teams.
Responsible for ensuring project steering committee meetings, cross function meetings and other key project meetings are effective and achieve objectives on a consistent manner.
Ability to drive the adoption of agile methodology across teams
Able to work with users to drive changes within the organization for projects implementation
Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management. Ensure utilization of standards and practices across all projects.
At least 8-15 years of experience working in program/project management
Working experience with cloud technologies and project implementation. Minimum 3-5 years experience work experience using AWS technologies. Certification on AWS is a plus.
Degree / background in computer science/ engineering and with past background with development preferred
Excellent presentation, analytical and articulation skills
Able work in a fast-paced, often unstructured environment and handle ambiguity
Self-starter and extremely hands on in the management of projects
Must have implemented large programs using Agile methodology
Demonstrated interaction and working with all levels of management.
Project management and agile certifications (e.g. PMP, scrum master etc) will be a plus.
Proficiency in Slack, Microsoft Project, Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, JIRA and Confluence
Hands on experience using cloud technologies including but not exclusively lambda, Kafka, machine learning and other AWS SDKs.
Experience in startups is preferred
