Job Description

Business Function
 
Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
Job duties & responsibilities
  • Engage with GTS, Ops and Tech and all other stakeholders to identify and prioritize critical project milestones and deliverables for projects relating to trade channels and ecosystems.
  • Develop and monitor the project plans identifying schedules, specifications, risks and contingency plan.
  • Organize the team to handle multiple large scale and/or moderately complex projects deliverables concurrently.
  • Understand trade finance functional requirements, ability to lead the review sessions with key stakeholders from GTS, Ops, risk, compliance whenever required.
  • Engage the functional testing teams in Hong Kong, and support the functional analysis and testing for releases for trade systems for doc trade and open account trade.
  • Manage the team of functional and testing expertise, ensure testers and SMEs in the team have the required functional knowledge by organizing trainings and guiding the team.
  • Keeping the morale of the team high and encouraging a learning culture.
  • Continuously gathers feedback from all project team members to track progress and unblock issues with the testing activities proactively.
  • Prepare regular project status reports and facilitates both technical and non-technical meetings/design reviews in order to keep management and other stockholders informed of project status and other related project issues.
  • Participate in the pre-implementation preparation and post-implementation support exercises including end-user live verification during roll-out.

Qualifications
  • More than 15 years of project management experience with a proven track record
  • Degree in business, accounting, computer science
  • Strong knowledge on Trade systems and other banking domains 
  • Have proven experience in requirements gathering, functional testing and conducting trainings to end-user. 
  • Possess strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Demonstrates good work ethics and is able to adapt to changes and is able to deliver within tight timelines
  • Ability to lead a team to work towards a common goal and strategic direction
  • Able to motivate people and promote PRIDE values 
  • Knowledge in digital technologies
  • Willingness to adapt to dynamic circumstances
