Job Description
  • Managing And Supporting Microsoft Windows Servers And Virtual Infrastructure Requests With A Strong Focus On The Virtual Servers, Virtual Desktop And Virtual Application Environment. 
  • Troubleshooting Issues and Resolving Them In A Methodical And Timely Fashion According To Strict Access And Control Policies And Procedures. 
  • Performing Maintenance Duties Such As Server Patching, Remediating Operating System Vulnerabilities, And Doing Asset Management. 
  • Able To Work Shifts and Occasionally On Weekends. 
  • Being Available On A 24/7 Basis and Be Willing To Travel within Singapore At Short Notice To Perform 
  • Maintenance and Support Duties Outside Of Regular Business Hours. 
  • Successful Candidate Will Be A Technical Contributor To Local, Regional And Global Support Tasks. 
  • Be Cognisant of and follow all Security Access Protocols, Change Management Procedures and Global IT Controls. 
  • At Least 2 years’ experience Preferably within A Banking / Financial Institution. 
  • Proven Experience Supporting And Installing Microsoft Windows Server 2008/2012/2016 
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, Account Privileges, and Share Permissioning. 
  • Good Working Knowledge Of Microsoft Windows Desktop Operating Systems And Office Applications. 
  • Proven Experience Supporting A Large Vmware Vsphere Environment. 
  • Good Verbal And Written Communication Skills. 
  • Experience And Knowledge Of Server Hardware From Tier 1 Manufacturers. 
  • Strong Knowledge And Experience Working With Monitoring Software Eg. ITRS Geneos. 
  • Strong Knowledge And Experience Of Technologies Such As Active Directory, Group Policies, Effective 
  • Permissions, DNS, Registries, DHCP, WINS, Firewalls, Proxy Servers And Other Network Devices. 
  • Experience Defining And Executing Disaster Recovery And Business Contingency Plans. 
  • The Ability To Perform Deep Dive Analysis Of Issues And Be Able To Quickly Resolve Complex Problems. 
  • Great Time Keeping Skills And Attention To Detail Is Essential. 
  • ITIL V3 Foundation Professional Qualification Is Required. 
  • Microsoft Hyper-V Knowledge And Skills. 
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) Qualification. 
  • Vmware Certification – VCP Or VCAP. 
  • Experience Supporting Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (Citrix Xendesktop / Nutanix). 
  • Knows Powershell Or Visual Basic Scripting - Skills Required To Automate Support Tasks. 
  • ITIL V3 Foundation (Preferred)
