Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Establish and implement the store management system and procedures
  • Planning, organizing and control of overall warehouse operations
  • Setup layout and space management within the warehouse
  • Manage stock control including but not limited to
    • Inspection of incoming materials
    • Goods receipt
    • Packing, storage and organization of materials to ensure optimum space utilization  
    • Issuance of material based on job requests
    • Proper documentation and timely upload into ERP system
  • Manage inventory accuracy through monitoring of daily warehouse activities, cycle count, stock takes and audit
  • Inspects physical condition of warehouse and equipment
  • Coordinate with Maintenance department to ensure sound material management with optimal level of spares kept on site
  • Seek continuous improvements to the practices and procedures in the plant
  • Any other duties as deemed necessary by the Technical Manager or Plant Manager 
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • At least 3 years of working experience in warehouse/logistics environment
  • Familiar with material control and inventory management
  • Experience with maintaining material usage records in CMMS
  • Basic software skills in MS Office
  • Able to operate forklift and pallet truck   
  • At least 3 years of working experience preferred
  • Positive attitude and a good team-player
  • Willing to work at multiple sites
  • Willing to work beyond normal working hours due to operational needs of the plant
