JOB SCOPE
Summary of Job Responsibilities
Butler Services offer 24-hour personalized service with commitment to create unforgettable memories for our guests at Marina Bay Sands. This position requires qualities such as being meticulous, self-confidence, good interpersonal skills and possess the ability to multi-task. Equipped with computer knowledge and skills, Butler Services also plays an integral role of representing other departments such as In-Room Dining, Housekeeping and Concierge to provide a one-stop service for guests, starting from their arrival experience till the end of their stay, in the most luxurious way.
Job Responsibilities
  • Accomplish day-to-day operational needs which encompasses all service touchpoints contributing to the overall guest experience. Tasks include but are not limited to, providing turndown services, handling floral set-up, taking and serving food and beverage order for in-suite dining.
  • Be meticulously attentive and anticipative towards guests needs.
  • Equipped with adequate knowledge of overall products and services found in Marina Bay Sands and in Singapore, to make sound recommendations to guests.
  • Intrinsically driven to deliver personalized guest experience in a luxurious way through inter-department collaborations across the Integrated Resort. Relevant departments include Front Office Groups, Guest Relations, Paiza Services, Housekeeping, Facilities, In-Room Dining and F&B outlets.
  • Capture and maintain accurate records of guests preferences.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education & Certification
  • Applicant must be a full-time matriculated student.
  • Internship must contribute to school graduation requirements

Experience
  • Prior experience in a hospitality setting or customer-facing role would be a bonus.

Competencies
  • Good planning and execution skills.
  • Sound time management and organization skills.
  • Strong customer-centric communication skills.
  • Excellent team-player with the ability to work independently.
  • Be operationally ready for deployment.
  • Portray strong self-confidence, professionalism, and charisma.
  • Knowledge of Property Management System and all other relevant hospitality system applications such as FCS.
  • Clear verbal communication and writing skills with good command in English.
