Job Description

Duties of Accounting Assistant

  • Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of full set of accounts
  • Prepare financial data for entry into the financial system
  • Preparation of tax computation and tax planning
  • Keep accounting records and bank statements
  • Prepare monthly audit schedules, maintain loan schedules
  • Prepare and file GST returns
  • Filling Tax return in time and updating the management about new change in rules and regulations.
  • Provide other supporting functions to the Division
  • Other ad hoc duties


  • Diploma/ Degree in Accounting with at least 1 year of experience in (Accounting Firm preferable),including keeping full sets of accounts and tax.
  • Able to perform under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • An independent team worker
  • Able to work under stress to meet tight reporting deadlines
