Responsibilities (any of the followings):
1) Electrical & Control
- Electrical circuit & control panel design. Electrical circuits, protection, calculations & approval drawings of electrical switchboard & control panels based on client's Drawing to meet requirement & specifications
- Liaise with vendors to meet desired quality & supply commitment
- Write complete new PLC & HMI Programming
- Electrical wiring, installation & commissioning & troubleshooting of electrical & control panels
- Knowledge in automation
2) Electrical & Instrumentation
- Overall vessel basic & detailed electrical engineering design development and electrical & instrumentation input to other disciplines
- Responsible for electrical & instrumentation engineering input for vessel design including power generation & distribution analysis, cable routing & arrangement, line diagram plan & input on electrical arrangement & design for the project to meet contractual requirements
3) Electrical/Mechanical/Rotary Equipment
- Performs maintenance activities on servicing & repair of mechanical & electrical equipment onboard vessels or in workshop
- Troubleshoots & diagnoses faulty equipment to determine root cause of equipment failure, takes remedial action & makes reliability improvements
- Monitor the serviceability of equipment & facilities & ensure they adhere to safety, housekeeping & environment requirements
- Develop & review risk analysis & procedure
- Liaise with customers on work schedule & defect findings
Requirements:
- NITEC/Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Power/Marine/Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- 2 years of experience
- Offshore electrical Installation and instrumentation experience preferred
- Experience in marine equipment control and systems integration preferred
- Experience in testing and commissioning of switchboards, power management, transformer and other electrical equipment preferred
- Competency in automation design of control system (Hardware & Software) for VFD drive, PLC system, HMI system utility power system
- Knowledge of AC/DC motors, computer-based system and generator
- Able to travel overseas onboard vessels when required
