Job Description
  • Initiate engagement plans, activities and programmes for alumni/student relationship building
  • Serve as a conduit between BIZ School and the alumni community, covering all aspects including communication
  • Serve as liaison to programme offices, various departments in the School and the alumni association boards
  • Identify and recruit alumni contacts and champions to support all alumni groups, including overseas chapters
  • Solicit and be responsible for posting on all social media channels, alumni-related call-for-action notes and media-related publications
  • Develop programmes to facilitate the transition of graduates into engaged alumni through the various student clubs
  • Manage all BIZAlum events and those jointly organised with the alumni associations
  • Proactively cultivate China-based alumni and engage the China’s regional chapter leaderships

  • Bachelor's degree, with 3-6 years of working experience. Experience in alumni relations is an advantage.
  • IT savvy and skilled in Microsoft Office. Experience with CRM system (Salesforce) is preferred.
  • Excellent diplomacy skills and ability to interact with a broad range of people and constituencies
  • Strong programme/event management, organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Able to multi-task, work well both in a team and independently
  • Positive attitude and have a self-directed drive to learn
  • Be intiative in finding out how things are being done and complete the tasks well
  • Good oral and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin, due to frequent liaising with Chinese-speaking alumni.
  • Strong appreciation for China culture, ways of socialising, networking and communication protocols
  • Comfortable and be visible in all communciation and social media channels; be able to solicit or create impactful content for postings to such channels. Strong affinity with Wechat, Facebook, LinkedIn and other market trending social media channels.
