Job Description

The Government Technology Agency (GovTech) aims to transform the delivery of Government digital services by taking an 'outside-in' view, putting citizens and businesses at the heart of everything we do. We also develop the Smart Nation infrastructure and applications, and facilitate collaboration with citizens and businesses to co-develop technologies.

In the Young Talent Programme Office (YTPO), we spearhead initiatives to outreach and ignite students’ passion in technology, as well as to engage, attract and develop young talents for GovTech. As a YTPO team member, you are passionate to bring out the best within students and young talents, as well as to groom them into young leaders for the organisation.

  • Be empowered to lead talent engagement programmes to engage the youth and recommend best practices and channels to ensure pleasant and positive candidate experience.
  • Manage the end-to-end of the recruitment life cycle of the Polytechnic Technology Programme (PTP), Work-study Programmes and Internship programme. This includes active planning and partnership with schools and tech divisions across GovTech.
  • Coach students from the various engagement programmes on their career development.
  • Report key talent metrics on internship conversion and recommend improvement to the team.
  • Keep abreast of latest trends and innovations in recruitment and outreach
  • Contribute ideas and participate in projects to improve and streamline recruitment processes.

Requirements:

  • Passionate about engaging the youth and see them develop interest in tech
  • Minimum 4 years of HR experience talent development, talent management, business partnering or/and graduate recruitment
  • Strong ownership and, initiative, solution and results oriented
  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills
  • Good understanding on the Tech / ICT / Engineering industry preferred
  • Experience in internet sourcing (e.g. social media, job boards, etc), preferably with web-marketing skills
  • Able to forge strong relationship at all levels and influencing key stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
