Responsibilities of the role
  • Own the implementation of new marketing technologies and their integration with existing platforms (e.g. Eloqua and Salesforce.com). Demands will span subjects such as data collection, audience segmentation, personalization, owned and paid media channels, brand safety, analytics, and reporting.
  • Lead the teams and countries in MarTech project design and development, testing, training and planning awareness/adoption campaigns prior to project deployment.
  • Champion greater experimentation and more-agile management of new capabilities by being externally in touch with industry trends which may be used/adapted to further the interests and features on thermofisher.com, myfisherstore.com and mobility app.
  • Collaborate with global and local e-Business teams to build and implement plans to establish first-class innovations to drive win in e-commerce and lead generation.
  • Lead and communicate effectively across functional and agency stakeholders to align plans, solve problems, and deliver results.
  • Facilitate and prioritize technology requests from marketing, translating between technical and marketing requirements and making sure that marketing's systems adhere to IT policies including cybersecurity and privacy mandates.

Qualifications
  • 2 years relevant marketing technologist experience
  • Very strong hands-on experience in ecommerce and CRM systems such as Salesforce (SFDC), Siebel and Eloqua
  • Experience with using data as a strategic choice for the business to identify use cases to build the business and fill gaps in data, processes, and systems to realize the value of new technology platforms.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet conflicting deadlines through definitive planning and prioritizing
  • A can-do attitude with a thirst for knowledge and ability to learn independently
  • Preferably have worked in eCommerce and has understanding online fundamentals needed to win with direct customers, dealers and government procurement teams.
  • Expert in Microsoft Office suite of tools including Excel, Powerpoint, Word
  • Proficient in any programming languages such as SQL
