Duties and Responsibilities
We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated person to be part of our team. You will be responsible for the planning, formulation and communication of policies papers, secretariat support in meetings. You could also be called upon to conduct research and benchmarking exercise as well as the processing of information and data.
(A) Teaching Innovation & Quality (TI&Q) Policies and Programmes
  • Assist in policy and programme development and implementation
  • Draft policy/concept papers, if needed

(B) Technology-enhanced Learning (TEL) Grant Administration
  • Advise Principal Investigators (PIs) on grant guidelines and requirements
  • Disseminate grant calls and coordinate submission of applications
  • Provide secretariat support to the evaluation committee
  • Handle all matters related to the conveyance of grant award, terms of conditions, creation of project accounts, progress/final reporting and project change requests
  • Monitor grant utilisation and track completion of projects

(C) University Awards
  • Handle all matters related to the selection and award process at the university level
  • Handle enquires from staff about the grant terms and conditions and requests for grant extensions or variations

(D) Events
  • Assist with organising, managing and executing events
  • Provide logistical support and events planning process (venue booking and coordinating)

Qualifications & Requirements
University degree
At least 6 years of working experience
•Adept in using Microsoft Software (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferably possess working knowledge of SAP Financial system
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to relate well with people at all levels
• Positive work attitude, self-driven with a high degree of professional Integrity
• Resourceful and strong problem-solving skills
• Independent and a self-starter yet a team player
• Meticulous, able to work well under pressure and commitment to meeting tight deadlines
