The Business Analysis (BA) team is responsible for gathering and understanding the business needs, analyzing the business processes and supporting the design and development of the IT systems deployed across the organization. Business Analyst is a liaison between different stakeholders and acts as a connector by working closely with the domain experts and business users to identify business requirements, understand business challenges, address usability concerns, suggest improvements and document solutions.
As a member of the BA team, the Business Analyst/Senior Analyst supports the team members throughout the project life cycle, including supervision of the junior executives. He/she will aide in documenting both business requirements and comprehensive solutions for a number of low to medium risk projects.
  • Assist with daily management of operational functions of the project team and ensure that projects are delivered via a standard and consistent approach adopted throughout the BA team
  • Participate in project walkthroughs, business requirements gathering, design phrases, functional test plans, user trainings and implementation sessions
  • Lead requirements gathering, validation and verification via interviews, analysis, workshops etc, ensuring that requirements are complete, consistent, concise and verifiable
  • Communicate effectively with business units to define system requirements and organization processes
  • Review and prepare documentations and specifications in accordance with methodology
  • Facilitate requirements prioritization based on business value
  • Manage requirements traceability information and track requirements status throughout the project
  • Manage changes to requirements through effective use of change control processes and tools
  • Suggest areas for improvements along with possible solutions
  • Lead internal teams and monitor progress periodically
  • Assist in enforcement of project deadlines, schedules and methodologies

Key Performance Indicators:
  • Clarity and accuracy of the documentations
  • Feedbacks and comments from stakeholders and end users on communication skills, quality of documents and solutions delivery
  • Team satisfaction on coordination skills, mentoring skills and delivery efficiency

  • Degree/ Diploma in Computer Science, or a related discipline
  • 3 - 7 years of relevant BA experience; Proven experience in participating in the full project SDLC/ Agile
  • Microsoft applications, Visio Proven experience in the operation and analysis of database hardware, software, standards and data retrieval methodologies
  • Excellent communication skills - able to communicate clearly and effectively in both verbal and written form
  • Good analytical and critical thinking skills - able to analyze and solve problems. Ability to identify and document solutions with accuracy
  • Strong business acumen - interest to learn and understand how a business achieves its goals and objectives
  • Familiar with Agile Methodology
