Job Description

KEY ACTIVITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Develop medium to long-term sales plans and strategies to grow and diversify the portfolio of customers
    • Face-to-face sales of the solutions including:
    1. Identify and manage interactions with customer
    1. Resolve problems and ensure customers receive high quality customer service
    • Develop client retention plans
    • Review and report on customer retention, business opportunity and market trends
    • Manage trade show set up and sales
    • Develop alternative sales channel partners

QUALIFICATIONS / TRAINING
    • Bachelor's degree in business/management/sales/marketing

EXPERIENCE & SOFT SKILLS
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Business Development position, preferably in an enterprise / B2B / SaaS solution tech company
    • Experience with solution sales to senior business leaders (C-suite, executive management)
    • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
    • Managed trade shows/exhibition.
    • Strong data driven decision making skills
    • Self-starter with highly adaptable skills
    • Excellent communication skills with ability to work across functions
    • Strong passion to work in a start-up environment
    • Ability to manage time and schedules to meet aggressive deadlines
    • Extensive experience with Excel and PowerPoint
    • Willing to travel regularly, up to 50% of time
    • Previous experience in the maritime industry and/or established relationships with ship owning, ship management companies, or marine spare part suppliers will be a strong advantage, but not a prerequisite to apply.
