Business Development Manager
As a Business Development Manager, you will need to build market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships.
One of the key responsibilities will be to locate or propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners discovering and exploring opportunities through:
  • Achieving business development in accordance with business goals so as to deliver maximum margin
  • To be accountable for new and potential customer/business revenue with high impact to the overall profitability of the Company
  • Make accurate decisions, recommendations and successful establishment of new businesses
  • To proactively identify and develop win-win sales relationship with new and potential customers
  • To provide customers specific advice/information to BD Director to facilitate business performance review, evaluation and budgeting
  • To provide support to devise, fine tune and implement overall sales and marketing strategy and directives
  • To develop assigned vertical market and achieve set goals by DHL

To be successful in this role you will need to have the following competencies / experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Logistics preferred
  • Minimum 5 years experience in the supply chain industry
  • Experience in Key Accounts Management
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to manage and develop relationships and negotiate at all levels of management in a customer organization

DHL Aero Expreso S.A. is a cargo airline based out of Panama City, Panama. It is wholly owned by Deutsche Post World Net and operates the group's DHL-branded parcel and express services in Central and South America. Its main base is Tocumen International Airport, Panama City.
