Site Name: Vietnam - Ho Chi Minh City Posted Date: Jan 14 2022 This role focuses on synergic data based internal and external to provide a scientific approach and drive making decision toward strategic alignment, business planning, implementation and performance management based on market intelligence, market research and customer insight to support the profitable growth agenda of local Business Intelligent & Commercial Effectiveness Head role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following… 1. Business Analysis Preparing insightful analysis in support of the LOC Leadership Team and commercial business units while participating as a key thought leader to influence executive decision-making and strategic planning Developing, implementing and maintaining an effective reporting, planning and analytical capability that will provide the LOC Leadership Team and commercial business units with tools to establish goals and measure performance of various commercial units Developing and executing processes to allow for routine analytical reviews of company commercial and financial performance, leveraging business unit analytical resources and tools. Responsible for selecting the appropriate research methodologies or integrating internal and external data sources to deliver business insights and brand performance forecast accuracy 2. Market Research: Drive execution of above country ad hoc market researches or LOC demand as 'Perception Study' STEM VoC to LOC implementation… Able to work with Research Agencies, Knowledge Centre or self-support to complete required researches with professional standards 3. Strategy planning in SRO: Conduct sales resource optimization exercise and corporate with Commercial Effectiveness team to create efficiency, effectiveness business model and structure appropriate with LOC strategy and development area for improvement Establish optimum and efficient sales force resource to support new business model or sharpen Field Force structure mapping with new strategic and business planning. 4. Commercial Effectiveness: Partner with EM & LOC commercial leadership teams to align the Emerging Markets Commercial Effectiveness strategy with the LOC/Area priorities. High accountability in senior leadership to lead the alignment, synergic & harmonization between BI & Commercial Effectiveness team to help GSK to build a best in class Field operation & ensure quality execution vs plan to support profitable growth agenda of LOC 5. Management Reporting Monitoring overall company & KAM performance dashboard, EM/LOC MPR meeting and escalating important information to the LOC Leadership Team and commercial business units to support business decision-making, allowing issues to be addressed in a timely and constructive manner Constructing and reviewing other ad-hoc and standardized reports required to aid senior management in decision-making 6. Business Partnering Liaising between Commercial and Finance units to align reporting, planning and analytical requirements of each team Developing, reviewing and assessing the impact of strategic commercial initiatives of Pharmaceutical and Vaccines business units Communicating foreseen risks and opportunities to commercial counterparts and partnering to address risks/ exploit opportunities Publishing identified key metrics to track performance of individual brands/ commercial units and their contribution to achieving total corporate targets to allow accountability and responsibility for results Conducting training modules designed to enhance commercial and financial acumen across the organization and achieve alignment between finance and commercial objectives 7. Compliance Complies with Company policies and processes for QMS, Medical governance, Procurement, IT, Finance, EHS, and HR, as relevant. Ensure the completeness and validity of all contracts, agreements, and other forms of documentation related to the management of internal processes and resources such as external service providers, data subscription, ad-hoc services, market research, and others 8. People Management Lead the team of data analysts in managing all relevant business data and driving the availability of information and insight needed by commercial stakeholders Serve as main point-of-contact with regional and global stakeholders for analytics and business insight-related interactions and initiatives Why you Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: Bachelors Degree Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking Ability to work effectively and influence across multiple functions and levels Familiarity and mastery on Business Intelligence processes and systems Able to adapt and work with various information systems Process oriented Strong inter-personal skills, written and verbal communication skills Effective communication, presentation and business planning skills, proactive and action-oriented Excellent knowledge in MS Office, in particular MS Excel, MS Access and MS Powerpoint Market Research methodoloy Proficiency in Tableau Desktop, QlikView, power BI, and other Business Intelligence platforms (optional) Preferred Qualifications: If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: MBA or Advanced Degree Use of ADP tools and techniques Effective networking and coordination across different functions *LI- GSK Why GSK At GSK, we have already delivered unprecedented change over the past four years, improving R&D, becoming a leader in Consumer Healthcare, strengthening our leadership, and transforming our commercial execution.
