The Creative Director at Brave Bison is at the heart of the company’s creative product, building our reputation through great ideas and demonstrable passion for creativity.
Working at the heart of Brave Bison’s commercial business you’ll help drive revenue for the company through ideation, conceptualisation and development of creative concepts for Brave Bison’s brand and agency customers, as well as for the company’s owned and operated properties.
This role will collaborate with the Commercial team and creator community to generate and lead new initiatives, respond to briefs, drive new and repeat business, create ideas for the team and oversee the delivery of campaigns ensuring that our creative work is the best in the market.
The Creative Director is utterly connected to culture, knowledgeable of audience behaviours, attitudes, internet culture and real-world human insights.
Develop cohesive and productive goals for the company and design ways to meet them.
Transform ideas and general concepts into actions, projects, and completed products or messages.
Lead the creative team and direct project completion in line with company goals.
Develop design concepts that further the company’s brand identity.
Formulate short- and long-term creative goals and strategies for achieving them.
Represent Brave Bison on the Global stage at events, forums and as a thought leader across the media.
Maintain consistency over the quality and message of the creative team’s output.
Evaluate the current status of the industry and the market to ensure delivery of relevant and useful products, messages, or branding.
Anticipate the future direction of the industry using both research and own insight, and bring the company into the fore of that trajectory.
Desired skills & experience:
From a Creative, Media, or Production Company background, you’ll be a natural creative and people leader with deep experience of interpreting brand briefs into engaging content executions.
You will know what great work looks like and have a high standard when it comes to concept and execution. You must be constantly thinking of new ideas and be able to generate original ideas for the company. You should have the necessary production experience in order to bring the ideas to life. Social influencermarketing is a key speciality at Brave Bison and the Creative Director must be able to provide support to this part of the business.
You’ll have a roster of impressive contactsthroughout the industry and you will be adept at managing relationships with multiple stakeholders. You should be experienced in using your contacts to set up creative collaborations.
An engaging communicator, you’ll bring passion & energy to the creative process. You’ll be brave in your ideas and approach with the ability to sell in creative concepts to a wide audience. You must have excellent presentation skills and be able to enthuse a room and sell and idea.
The Creative Director should be able to build structured presentations that are articulated well to help sell ideas.
You’ll have managed multiple projects from concept through to completion, you’ll be action & results driven, getting the best out of your team to achieve the department goals.
In addition, you should have:
5+ years’ experience across the Japan & Asia Pacific Region
A strong working knowledge of project management, design and brand development, and marketing.
The ability to nurture and adapt an existing brand to suit changing circumstances within the company and the industry.
Extensive knowledge and experience in influencer marketing
Excellent communication skills- with the ability to multitask and manage a number of different projects at once.
Multi – language skills. Whilst this is not a requirement, it would be advantageous.
