Job Description

The Data Center Site Logistics Analyst is responsible for executing logistics functions in support of critical Data Center operations, and that tasks are completed safely and compliant to financial and process controls. The individual will also lead projects and continuous improvement initiatives. This role supports the Site Lead, the individual will work closely with data center teams and XFN partners, and also working directly with regional and central teams.
Data Center Site Logistics Analyst Responsibilities

  • Conduct all day-to-day aspects of material movement, including shipping and receiving, inventory management and cycle counting of all consigned and FB-owned inventory in region, and serves as logical back-up to Site Lead.

  • Works with the logistics team to ensure continuous improvement and a growth mindset.

  • Focus on safety and compliance with accountability for all materials processes and equipment training and certification for logistics associates.

  • POC to ensure product on site is accounted for (compliant receipt or UR/Task creation for all product on site).

  • Primary contact for VMI project with vendors

  • Work with DC site teams on the following activities:

  • Spares related inventory, ordering, and material shortages.

  • Parts movements and RMAs.

  • Work with Security on communications, alternate logistics plans, and emergency planning.

  • Examines operations problems closely from different perspectives and delivers solutions to be standardized across the data centers.

  • Manage site projects in a matrix organization, resolve project issues and coordinate appropriate escalation.

  • Lead site continuous improvement projects, working with Central IBOS Team, providing field insight as well as champion new processes for the local DC team.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience leading operations, process implementations, or logistics solution design

  • BS degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience.

  • Ability to be proactive and collaborate with different individuals across the organization and geographies

  • Strong organizational and time management skills that ensures concurrent tasks/project activities are completed

  • Strong analytical, solutioning and negotiation skills. Clear focus under pressure

  • Strong communication skills, problem-solving skills, attention-to-detail, and interpersonal skills

  • Quick learner, positive attitude, and focused on customer service

  • Proficiency with inventory management and warehouse management systems

  • Supply Chain process understanding from Procure to Pay

  • Good understanding of APAC logistics

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to work and collaborate with North Asia factories
