What the role is
DEPUTY / ASSISTANT MANAGER, APPEALS & VIOLATIONS
What you will be working on
You will be in the Vocational Licence and Service Excellence Division, which oversees the development and management of taxi, private hire cars, public and private hire bus drivers. As part of the team, you will handle enquiries/ appeals from members of the public on matters pertaining to vocational licences (VLs).
In the course of your work, you will be required to prepare written submissions on appeals to the Senior Management and work with relevant agencies to resolve escalated cases. You will be required to assist with compliance monitoring to ensure existing VL holders continue to meet VL requirements. In addition, you would be required to assist with the tracking and reporting of public feedback on the service of public transport operators.
What we are looking for
Requirements:
. Tertiary qualification in any discipline
. Excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills
. At least 3 years of working experience preferred
. Knowledge or experience in strategic thinking will be an advantage
. Highly adaptable team player who is able to work independently and multi-task in a dynamic and fast environment
. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
