DevOps Consultant
Job Description
- With 5-10 years working experience as an DevOps Engineer
- Infrastructure engineer with at least 5+ experience relevant working with the application teams supporting distributed microservices based applications.
- Excellent knowledge of public cloud (AWS), including a strong emphasis on infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, others).
- Strong exposure to application and infrastructure monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana etc.
- Strong exposure to infrastructure-as-code toolsets (Ansible, Terraform, Helm etc)
- Strong development/scripting experience (Python and Bash)
- Excellent knowledge of GIT (rebase, merge, cherrypick, etc)
- Strong views on CI/CD approaches with proven expertise in implementing these (Jenkins, etc)
- Strong knowledge on Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure ) .
- Excellent Linux knowledge.
- Excellent knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes, including design, build and maintenance of k8s environments and supporting developers in releasing into k8s.
- Good working knowledge of TCP/IP, routing and networking.
- Good knowledge of API-based environments.
- Information Security mindset, with strong grounding in PKI, encryption, network security, OS-hardening and related best practices.
- ITIL foundation
- Agile/Scrum principles
- Presentation skills
